Able Technologies have released a modbus test emulator for using with both modbus master and slave devices.
The software supports Modbus RTU/ASCII over RS232 and TCP/IP. It also supports Modbus TCP which adds a 6 byte
header to standard Modbus packets.
Version 1.05 adds function to write single register or single coil and
some support for devices that return a two byte byte count. .
You can save your master/slave configurations to an XML formatted file.
